Rodrigo – The Keyhole Gaze
90 €A striking and thought-provoking composition where a monochrome, vintage-style eye peers through a keyhole-shaped cutout against a bold red background. The intense gaze evokes curiosity, mystery, and the feeling of being watched—or watching. The stark contrast between the detailed face and the minimalist background enhances the surreal and almost voyeuristic nature of the image. It invites the viewer to question what lies beyond the keyhole, blurring the line between observer and the observed. A symbol of secrecy, intrigue, and the human desire to uncover hidden truths.

Artwork Description:
A surreal and amusing black-and-white image showing a giraffe’s head peering through the window of an airplane. The towering animal’s long neck and curious expression create a striking contrast against the vast, cloud-filled sky outside. The juxtaposition of the giraffe in flight, far from its natural habitat, adds a sense of whimsy and wonder to the scene. The airplane wing adds further context, highlighting the absurdity of the situation and making the image both intriguing and humorous.
The Artist:
Born and raised in the remote mountain village of Eldenholm, I found inspiration in the untouched landscapes that surrounded me. My artistic journey began at the Solhavn Academy of Visual Arts, where I specialized in nature-inspired photography and fine art. I later deepened my craft through an immersive program at the Nordfjell Institute of Contemporary Imagery, focusing on black-and-white photography techniques.
Over the years, my work has been sought after by renowned brands such as Lunaris Outdoor Gear, EverPeak Apparel, and Aurora Prints Co., where my photographs have been featured in campaigns that celebrate the harmony between humans and nature. Collaborating with these brands allowed me to refine my ability to merge commercial photography with the raw essence of fine art.
A lifelong passion for wildlife has driven me to explore the symbiotic relationship between animals and their environments. My work seeks to capture fleeting, poignant moments that reveal the untamed beauty of nature.
