Bonaque – Skybound Curiosity

Dimensions: 45 x 30 x 0.2 cm
Printed on High-Quality Art Photographic Paper

Artwork Description:

A surreal and amusing black-and-white image showing a giraffe’s head peering through the window of an airplane. The towering animal’s long neck and curious expression create a striking contrast against the vast, cloud-filled sky outside. The juxtaposition of the giraffe in flight, far from its natural habitat, adds a sense of whimsy and wonder to the scene. The airplane wing adds further context, highlighting the absurdity of the situation and making the image both intriguing and humorous.

The Artist:
Born and raised in the remote mountain village of Eldenholm, I found inspiration in the untouched landscapes that surrounded me. My artistic journey began at the Solhavn Academy of Visual Arts, where I specialized in nature-inspired photography and fine art. I later deepened my craft through an immersive program at the Nordfjell Institute of Contemporary Imagery, focusing on black-and-white photography techniques.

Over the years, my work has been sought after by renowned brands such as Lunaris Outdoor Gear, EverPeak Apparel, and Aurora Prints Co., where my photographs have been featured in campaigns that celebrate the harmony between humans and nature. Collaborating with these brands allowed me to refine my ability to merge commercial photography with the raw essence of fine art.

A lifelong passion for wildlife has driven me to explore the symbiotic relationship between animals and their environments. My work seeks to capture fleeting, poignant moments that reveal the untamed beauty of nature.

Mélodique – Sunny Side Up in the Sky

50 160

A brilliantly surreal and humorous composition that defies expectations—an ordinary fried egg, golden yolk glistening, is clipped to a clothesline, suspended against a backdrop of an endless blue sky. The playful absurdity of the image blurs the line between the everyday and the extraordinary, evoking thoughts of warmth, summer, and whimsical imagination. The crisp, minimalistic background enhances the visual impact, making the egg appear almost like a tiny, edible sun hanging in the open air. The use of a simple wooden clothespin adds a touch of realism, grounding the surreal scene in a familiar, domestic gesture. A perfect example of how creativity can transform the mundane into something delightfully unexpected.

Vizcarra – Feline Focus

70 170

“The Queen’s Gambit” is a bold and striking pop-art-inspired illustration that blends mystery, power, and symbolism. A stoic, sunglasses-clad figure holds up the Queen of Hearts card, his expression unreadable, evoking themes of deception, strategy, and high-stakes intrigue. The halftone dot pattern and vibrant blue background create a retro comic-book aesthetic, reinforcing the artwork’s playful yet enigmatic nature. Is he revealing a winning hand, or is there more to the game than meets the eye? This piece challenges the viewer to question fate, control, and the unseen forces at play.
