Serena – Infinite Reflection

60 220

Signed on the Reverse Side of the Photograph
Dimensions: 45 x 30 x 0.2 cm
Printed on High-Quality Art Photographic Paper

This striking monochrome artwork plays with perception and depth, depicting a silhouette within a silhouette, infinitely receding into itself. A faceless figure in a bowler hat stands against the sea, yet his presence is fragmented—his form carved out of a larger figure, and within him, yet another. The composition evokes themes of self-reflection, identity, and recursion, reminiscent of surrealist motifs. The stark contrast between black and white heightens the mystery, making the viewer question whether they are looking at a physical cutout, a metaphorical void, or an infinite loop of self-examination.

Serena – Light and Shadow on Water

60 250

Signed on the Reverse Side of the Photograph
Dimensions: 45 x 30 x 0.2 cm
Printed on High-Quality Art Photographic Paper

A poetic monochrome composition featuring two swans, one appearing as a dark silhouette against the light-reflecting water, while the other remains illuminated against the darkened background. This stark contrast creates a visual duality, reminiscent of the yin-yang concept—balance, opposition, and harmony coexisting. The delicate ripples around the birds suggest movement, while the mirrored reflections add an ephemeral, dreamlike quality. This image encapsulates the interplay of presence and absence, light and darkness, creating a timeless moment of serenity and contrast.

Mélodique – A Glimpse Through the Past

50 160

A masterful play on perspective, this image captures the dynamic energy of a bustling city through the reflection of a motorcycle’s side mirror. The foreground is a blur of motion—yellow taxis streak past, modern buildings loom, and urban life continues at its relentless pace. Yet within the mirror, a sharp, focused view of a perfectly framed street emerges, leading the eye towards a towering skyscraper at the vanishing point. This striking contrast between movement and stillness creates a sense of duality—past and present, chaos and clarity, observation and immersion. The photograph invites the viewer to question perspective, offering a nostalgic yet forward-looking glimpse into the soul of the city.
